Graphic Novel Book Club (Grades 3rd-5th)
Tuesdays 5:00–6:00 PM at Peninsular Prep (4002 S. Coolidge Ave Tampa, FL 33611).
This book club is open to K-2 children from all schools!
*Tuition is $35 per week, per session.*
-Families will receive a Venmo or PayPal request on the day of the club for that week’s session.
*ALL reading levels welcome! The teacher will read the story aloud and students will be given a copy of the book to follow along in*
This club is all about great stories, fun conversations, and creative expression, through graphic novels kids love! Each week, students will explore a graphic novel or selected chapters together, then gather for a guided group discussion where they can share ideas, favorite moments, and connections to the story. We’ll wrap up each session with a hands-on activity, such as drawing comics, creating characters, or playing story-based games that ties into the book and keeps things fun and engaging.
Graphic novels are fast-paced, visual, and exciting, making this club a great fit for both avid readers and kids who don’t always see themselves as “book lovers.”
